Monday morning ramblings....more to come!

Well….that was one of the best weekends of hockey that I have seen for quite some time! Let me just take a minute to thank the referee from Sunday’s game, Jeff Scott, and the whole game day crew.

I know there have been a few grumbles about how the game was officiated, but I personally believe that any complaints are unwarranted. I do not expect an official to make 100% of the calls, but I do expect that the game is called consistently…and I believe that this was achieved! The game was so much better for it!

Results aside, I couldn’t be happier with the weekend…no complaints from this guy!

I think it is also worth noting that the Melbourne Mustangs had a fantastic group of travelling fans! It was awesome to see such a large contingent of orange in the crowd, and you guys made plenty of noise for your boys. Gotta love seeing that! It’s a long way to come for no points, but it was great to see you all there supporting your team!

One question that I have been hearing quite a lot lately is “Why isn’t <Insert Player Here> playing tonight”…so with this in mind, I am working on being able to bring you some news around injuries, suspensions and general absences for the Brave…time permitting of course! Let me know if there is anything that you want to read about…I will do what I can to try and bring it to you!

I think that will about do for this morning, I should probably think about going in to work too! Do I have to though? I probably should!
