It seems to be the year of the Bear....This guy...not the guys from Sydney!

I do believe that it is well past due that I got back into this!

Prior to the season I answered the call to be a writer for the Australian Ice Hockey League. I put my name out there and was given the opportunity to do what I'm doing here and get greater coverage.

This is not to say that I will be neglecting this space. I have recently, I know. I have had to write a little closer to the centre, being that the league is an unbiased neutral party.

This space was designed for me to write about my passion....the CBR Brave! So that is what I will be doing, through my blue and yellow glasses and flagrant bias!

My work for the league has opened the door for me to get more involved in the Brave/hockey communities, without doubt! I have met some great people, including players, that I would likely not have had the opportunity to meet if I had not taken that opportunity.

I will be posting links to the articles that are published to the league...and writing here as a true one eyed fan.

Let me know what you want to see....and I will do what I can to make that happen!

Finally....I have to thank my amazing wife who encouraged me to answer the call for writers, who puts up with my incessant typing at all hours of the night and the afternoons that I wait in line to hold our spot! I couldn't do this without your support and I am eternally grateful for it!
